Extend the runtimeBy connecting one or more APC Smart-UPS X External battery packs to the corresponding APC Smart-UPS X, you can easily increase the number of minutes that the APC SMX UPS can independently supply emergency power. A runtime of several hours is even possible.
Extend the lifespanThe SMX120RMBP2U contains two (APCRBC118) internal battery cartridges and these can be easily, safely and independently replaced by the user. This without having to disconnect the SMX120RMBP2U or switch off the associated APC SMX and/or connected equipment. This way you can easily and cheaply extend the life of the APC Smart-UPS and your equipment always stays online.
Easy to useA Smart-UPS X External battery pack is rack/tower convertible. You can mount it in a rack with the supplied mounting brackets or place it upright.
The battery pack can be easily connected to the UPS, using the fixed cable with plug. Optionally, this can be extended using the SMX040, length 1.2m
Warranty extensionThe SMX120RMBP2U has a 2-year factory warranty, which can be upgraded to 5 years with the APC service pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-03).
