Intel® Hyper-Threading TechnologyIntel® Hyper-Threading Technology provides two processor threads per physical core. In applications with a large number of threads, more data can be processed simultaneously, resulting in faster task completion.
Idle StatesWhen the processor is idle, Idle States are (C-states) used to reduce power consumption. C0 is the running status, which means the CPU is active. C1 is the first idle state, C2 is the second, and so on. The higher the C status, the more measures are taken to reduce power consumption.
Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® TechnologyEnhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology is an advanced technology that delivers high performance while meeting the energy saving needs of mobile systems. With conventional Intel SpeedStep® Technology, the voltage and frequency are both switched to a higher or lower level to respond to the changing workload of the processor. Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology builds on this architecture with design strategies such as separated voltage and frequency cycling, and clock partitioning and recovery.
